The Halloween Info Hunt Is Back!

BOO!!

Something spooky is lurking in the stacks, and no, it’s not your Civ Pro outline. The Haunted Halloween Info Hunt has risen from the grave, and this year it’s bringing prizes. Past hauls have included study aids, law dictionaries, Bluebooks, gift cards, Westlaw fleece blankets, Lexis points, coffee tumblers and much more. That’s right: you can win something that isn’t a Bluebook citation error.

How to play: Answer at least 5 pf the Haunted Halloween Info Hunt questions by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29. Your answers don’t need to be perfect, just close. Consider it the one assignment this semester where “substantially correct” is a winning strategy.

Prefer old-school paper over spooky screens? Copies of the questions are available at the Reference Desk. Once you’ve finished, drop your paper entry into the brass Raffle Drum at the Reference Desk, where it will wait patiently, like a ghost with unfinished business.

Submitting online? No need to haunt the Reference Desk! Your librarians will print your entry and place it in the drum for you.

Then join us outside the library at 1:00 p.m. for some treats and the drawing of the winners. Come for the candy, stay for the possibility of a free fleece blanket. We can’t wait to see you there!
