Legal Affairs, “the magazine at the intersection of law and life,” invites law students to enter its Third Annual Writing Contest for Law Students.


The confirmation hearings for Judge John Roberts, nominee for Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, begin on Monday September 12, at 11:30 am ET. They will be airing live on C-SPAN3 and C-SPAN Radio, and can be viewed anytime online at c-span.org. C-Span will re-air the hearings in their entirety each day at 9 pm ET on C-SPAN2.


On September 5, 2005, New York City’s Video Voter Guide initiative began broadcasting candidate profiles for the upcoming primary and November elections on Channel 74.  The Guide is also available at www.nyc.gov/videovoter.
